BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The College of Charleston men's soccer team gathered three points on the road, taking down Campbell 2-0 on Saturday night.
The Cougars tallied their first goal of the night when a corner kick from
Leonardo D'Ambrosio was found in the box by
Noah Gold, who headed it into the back of the net. Charleston entered the half with the lead.
Noah Gold doubled the lead in the 57
th minute by similar fashion, when a corner kick from
Ezra White landed in the box. Gold was able to get a foot on the ball to send it to the back of the net.
The win was led by the Charleston defense, who allowed no shots on goal in the 90 minutes of play and limiting the Camels to just seven shots on the day.
Charleston will return to action on Saturday, October 26 to take on Hofstra in their final home game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed on FloFC with live stats available at CofCStats.com.
