
Women's Soccer Travels to William & Mary

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's soccer team will travel to Williamsburg to face William & Mary on Sunday, September 6. Kickoff is slated for 12:00 p.m.
In a tough fought battle, the Cougars ended their Thursday matchup versus Northeastern scoreless to move to a 0-2-2 record in CAA play.
Charleston tallied 12 shots on goal, with Emma Wennar leading the Cougars offense with three shots. Shea Vidovic aided the attack with two shots on goal along with a chance from Faith Slimmer.
The Tribe is 7-5 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. William & Mary last faced Delaware last Sunday, falling 0-1 at home.
The two teams hold a 5-1-5 record against each other, with the last two matchups ending in draws. The last time the Cougars defeated the Tribe was during the 2018 season. Charleston is looking for its first conference win of the season against William & Mary.
