
Women's Soccer Returns Home to Host Towson

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's soccer team will face Towson at Patriots Point on Thursday, October 10. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Cougars are coming off a thrilling 3-2 victory against William & Mary, improving their CAA conference record to 1-2-2. Emma Wennar led the Cougars with two goals on the day, scoring in the 11th minute to give Charleston the lead. Wennar then scored the game-winner in the 46th minute to help the Cougars to their first conference win of the season.
Towson currently sits at 4-4-6 overall and 2-2-1 in the conference. The Tigers are on a two-game winning streak after taking down Elon and Campbell last week on their home turf.
The Cougars last met Towson during the 2023 season, where Charleston fell on the road in a tight 2-1 matchup. The Cougars currently hold a 2-4-4 record against the Tigers, last defeating them in the 2017 season.
Thursday's game will also be international night, where all fans are encouraged to wear their soccer jerseys and scarves! College of Charleston scarves will be raffled off to fans in attendance. Fans can also stop by the marketing table for free international candy.
