CHARLESTON, S.C.- Three Cougars tallied double-digits as the College of Charleston women's basketball defeated North Carolina Central 84-54 inside TD Arena on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jazmyn Stone starting the scoring for the squad, sinking a three-point shot one minute into the first frame.
- The Cougars went on a 9-0 scoring run to take the lead in the second, after finishing the first 10 minutes tied at 15.
- CofC outscored their opponent 28-15 in the second quarter to take the lead, never looking back.
- Marissa Brown downed a buzzer-beater shot from behind the arc to give the Cougars a double-digit lead heading into the half.
- Charleston held the Eagles to zero points for the first four minutes of the fourth quarter.
- The Cougar bench scored 52 of 84 points on the night.
- CofC forced 33 turnovers and tallied 11 steals versus North Carolina Central.
- A 19-0 run for Charleston in the fourth propelled them to a 30-point win to remain undefeated on the season.
LEADING COUGARS
- Taryn Barbot led the team with 17 points along with six rebounds. Barbot surpassed the 500-career point mark in the matchup.
- Lara Rohkohl added 11 boards on the day with six points.
- Brown reached double-digit scoring for the first time in her career, tallying a career-high 14 points while finishing the day perfect from the charity stripe.
- McKinley Brooks-Sumpter earned her 1,000th career point and 500th career rebound in the matchup.
HOME SWEET HOME

The Cougars improve to 3-0 on the season for the first time since 2021. Charleston finished the nonconference season undefeated at home this previous year, and finished the season 13-2 inside TD arena.
