ROCK HILL, S.C. – The College of Charleston cross country teams wrapped up the 2024 season Friday at the NCAA Southeast Regional at the Winthrop Farm Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
The women placed a pair of runners in the top half of the field of 248 runners in the 6k race.
Caroline Himstreet finished 80th with a time of 22:14.7 followed by
Sophia Brown in 102nd after crossing in 22:35.8. The duo led the Cougars to 19th place out of 34 teams.
Also scoring were
Savannah Stoutt (23:15.2),
Cayden Crismon (23:24.8) and
Jeorgi Gavalas (23:38.6). Rounding out the Cougar entries were
Alyssa Boucher (23:39.7) and
Bella Hudson (23:53.5).
Rob DiMedio led the men with a 10k time of 33:53.2. Scorers also included Dylan McTigue (34:31.4), Evan Mitchell (34:53.4), Andrew Catapano (35:01.8) and Jackson Reid (35:23.5). Also competing were Ben Ashmore (35:39.8) and Nathan Hallar (36:13.3).
