PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The College of Charleston men's soccer team concluded the regular season with a 5-1 loss at Drexel.
Drexel was the first to strike, scoring in the ninth minute to take the lead. A quick response from the Cougars came in the 11
th minute, when a free kick from
Leonardo D'Ambrosio into the box was finished by
Matt Lenert.
The Dragons went on to score three unanswered goals in the first half to take the 4-1 lead into the break. Drexel added one in the second half to finish the game 5-1.
The loss puts Charleston on the road for the opening round of the CAA Tournament. Their opponent and location will be determined later tonight.
