Men's Soccer Faces Stetson in Home Opener

CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston men's soccer team will host Stetson for their home opener on Monday, September 2 at 6:00 p.m.

The Cougars return home for their first matchup of the season at Patriots Point after a 2-0 start on the season.

Charleston took down USC Upstate on Thursday in a 5-1 victory, where the Cougars started the scoring frenzy just six minutes into the game with a shot outside the box from Ezra White. The Cougar offense has tallied nine goals in the first two games of the season.

The Hatters make the trip to Patriots Point with a 1-1 record this season, falling to UNC Asheville 3-1 before defeating Florida International 1-0 last Monday.

This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams, with the last matchup ending in a draw in 2023. The Cougars are looking for their first 3-0 start since the 2008 season.
