Alexander, Gavalas Lead Cougars at Camel City Distance

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Lucy Alexander and Jeorgi Gavalas made record book moves at the Camel City Distance on Saturday at the JDL Fast Track.
Alexander posted a converted time of 2:19.02 in the 800m to take over 10th place in College of Charleston history. Gavalas ran a converted 4:55.31 in the mile and moved up from eighth to fourth.
Savannah Stoutt (2:19.29) and Abby Mogg (2:19.35) had solid times in the 800m. Caroline Himstreet also went under five minutes in the mile, finishing in 4:58.18.
Bella Hudson led the Cougars in the 3000m with a converted mark of 10:29.94.
