McKee Named CAA Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – After securing a 3-0 week in singles play, Jaiden McKee has been named CAA Player of the Week.
McKee extended her winning streak to eight after going 3-0 in singles in Charleston's victories over Kalamazoo (7-0) and CAA foes Drexel (6-1) and UNCW (4-3). Competing at No. 4, the junior blanked Kalamazoo's Ivy Walker, 6-0, 6-0. Moving to the No. 5 slot for conference competition, McKee topped Drexel's Bia Ibrahim, 6-1, 7-5, and defeated UNCW's Alex Borcich, 6-2, 6-4, as the Cougars rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take the match.
The Cougars will return to action on Friday, April 4 to take on North Carolina A&T on the road. Doubles play is set for 2:00 p.m.
