Molly Hardwick finished T9 (-2) to lead the Cougars at the Mason Rudolph Championship. Charleston finish T8 in the 16 team tournament, including four top 25 ranked teams in the WGCA Preseason Coaches Poll.
"Good tournament, but a tough day," said head coach
Jamie Futrell. "Finishing in the top half of field in Mason Rudolph is always a respectable finish."
Hardwick finished the tournament with an even par 71 round, sinking four birdies. She ranked fifth out of all competitors in par 5 scoring (4.50, -6).
The Cougars played their top team round in the second round, turning in a 285 (+1) card.
Charleston will return to action on September 29 when the Cougars host the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in Asheboro, N.C.
