
Cougars Host Tot Hill Farm Invitational

ASHEBORO, N.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team hosts the Tot Hill Farm Invitational, September 28-29 in Asheboro, North Carolina, at the Tot Hill Farm Golf Club.
The tournament's opening round was moved up a day to September 28 to accommodate for inclement weather approaching the area. Play will begin with a shotgun star at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 27 with 18 holes before 36 holes on Monday.
East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Old Dominion, Eastern Kentucky, Elon, Radford, Gardner-Webb, Western Carolina, Wofford, Presbyterian, North Carolina A&T, and Queens will complete the field in Asheboro.
Immy Williamson will make her Cougar debut in Asheboro. She will be joined by Molly Hardwick, Carys Fennessy, Emilie von Finckenstein, and Adrian Anderson.
The Cougars are coming off a T8 finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship, finishing in the top half of a 16-team field that included four nationally ranked programs. Senior Molly Hardwick led the team with a T9 finish at 2-under, highlighted by four birdies in the final round and a top-five mark in par-5 scoring.
Charleston's top team round in Nashville came in the second with a 285 (+1), anchored by a 68 from Carys Fennessy, who finished T27 (+5).
Charleston enters Tot Hill as the defending champions from a record breaking fall 2024 season. It was the first of three consecutive tournament victories of the 2024 season with a 3-over team total. The Cougars also swept the individual podium with Emma Schimpf claiming medalist honors at 1-under followed by Emilie von Finckenstein in second and Hardwick at T3.
