Women’s Soccer Travels to Davidson for First Road Contest

Charleston, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's soccer team travels to Davidson on Sunday, August 23 for their first away match of the season. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
The Cougars enter the match with a 1-1-1 record, after falling 0-1 to Ole Miss at home on Thursday. Goalkeeper Ainsley Chunn picked up seven saves in the match, one shy of her career best.
Senior Bella Antonio currently leads the Cougars with four points, after scoring two goals in Charleston's opening match against Southern Utah. Kassy Uzelman and Caitlyn Toubia follow with two points apiece.
Davidson enters the contest with a 1-1 record after falling to USC Upstate on Thursday. The Cougars also faced Upstate in their second match of the season, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
This will be the 18th meeting between the Cougars and the Wildcats in program history. The last meeting was at Davidson in 2012.
