Men's Tennis Adds Four to 2026-27 Roster

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head men's tennis coach Jay Bruner rounded out the 2026-27 roster with the additions of Harry Abel, Aryan Karnani, Jacob Rouleau-Mailly and Edoardo Santoni.
Harry Abel – Sophomore – 6'1 – Leeds, England
Abel joins the Cougars after completing his freshman season at UNCW. He posted winning singles and doubles records with the Seahawks during his first collegiate season. Prior to UNCW, Abel attended Leeds Grammar School in Leeds, England and won multiple ITF doubles titles, including a j100.
"I chose CofC because of Coach Bruner and the incredible location," said Abel.
Aryan Karnani – Freshman – 5'8– Mount Waverley, Victoria, Australia
Karnani joins the Cougars from the Virtual School of Victoria in Thornbury, Victoria, Australia. In his junior tennis career, he won 25 singles matches and 29 doubles matches. Karnani's goal is to compete on the professional tennis circuit.
"I chose CofC because of the Division I tennis program and the ability to take many data science courses," said Karnani.
Jacob Rouleau-Mailly – Junior – 6'2 – Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada
Rouleau-Mailly comes to Charleston after spending his sophomore season at the University of New Orleans where he won six singles matches and seven doubles matches. Prior to New Orleans, he spent his freshman year with Northern Kentucky where he earned NKU Male Rookie of the Year. Rouleau-Mailly also won eight singles and eight doubles matches that season.
"I chose CofC because of the great tennis program and the incredible education," said Rouleau-Mailly.
Edoardo Santoni – Sophomore – 5'11– Milan, Italy
Santoni joins the Cougars after completing his freshman season at Georgia Southern. He won 15 singles matches and seven doubles matches playing in both the fall and spring seasons. Prior to the start of his collegiate career, Santoni attended Istituto Freud in Milan, Italy.
"I chose CofC because of the city, the strong tennis program and the great academics," said Santoni.
