Women’s Soccer Travels to North Florida for Mid-Week Contest

Charleston, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's soccer team will travel to Jacksonville Fla. on Thursday, Aug. 27 to compete against North Florida.
Most recently, the Cougars fell 0-2 to Davidson in their first away match of the season.
Graduate student Maggie Wadsworth led the Cougars with four shots in the match and one on goal. She currently leads the team with ten shots, followed by Mary Martin Spinner with five.
Ainsley Chunn and Mia Vrataric split the match in the goal, combining for a season-high nine saves. Chunn started off the match with five saves in the first half, and Vrataric totaled four in the second.
This is the seventh meeting in program history between Charleston and North Florida. The Cougars lead the series with a 4-2 record over the Ospreys, with all previous matchups being played at Charleston. Their last meeting occurred in 2025 when the Cougars defeated the Ospreys 3-1.
The Ospreys are currently 1-1-1 on the season, most recently earning a 1-1 draw with Florida International on Sunday.
