Lenert Named to TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week

CHARLESTON, S.C. - College of Charleston senior forward Matt Lenert was named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's National Team of the Week for the second time this season following his performances in wins over Winthrop and USC Upstate.
Lenert scored three goals across two victories last week, earning his second CAA Player of the Week honor by helping the Cougars defeat Winthrop, 4-1, and USC Upstate, 2-1. The Falls Church, Va., native scored twice against the Eagles before netting his second game-winner of the season against the Spartans. He has a league-leading six goals (5th in NCAA) and 14 points through six matches. Charleston enters the week with a 4-1-1 overall record and a 1-1-1 mark in CAA play.
Charleston, now 4-1-1, will return to CAA play on Saturday, September 19 at Elon. Action is set for 12:00 p.m.
