MT PLEASANT, S.C. – College of Charleston men's soccer lost 2-1 Sunday evening to UNCW at Patriots Point.

The Cougars slip to 5-2-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the CAA. The Seahawks improve to 7-1-1 and 4-0-0 in the league.

UNCW opened the scoring in the 40th minute for the 1-0 advantage.

Charleston's Arnau Olle leveled the match in the 51st minute on a free kick. Olle sent the ball, placing it perfectly into the right side of the net. The goal was Olle's second of the season.

The Seahawks took the lead again in 78th minute.

CofC eclipsed double-digit shot attempts for the fifth match this season with 10 in the contest.

The Cougars are on the road with a trip Oct. 3 at Campbell. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
