Prior to CofC: Captained the Concorde Fire Academy team for five years... helped Concorde win National League at the U15 level... started as a freshman for Mills Creek High School which advanced to the Elite 8.

Chiu on coming to Charleston: “My goal ever since I was younger was to play D-I soccer. The College of Charleston has recently given me the opportunity to accomplish that goal by allowing me to become a Cougar next fall. I look forward to not only taking the field and representing Charleston through soccer, but expanding my education there as well. Soccer is a big part of my life and will be an even bigger part for the next four years. I can't wait!”

Coach Lundy’s on Chiu: “Tyler is a tremendously tough player. He gives 100 percent effort every time he steps on the field. He is doesn’t back down from any challenge and fights for his team.”
