The Cougars drop to 8-5 overall, while the Gamecocks improve to 8-7 on the year.
Of the six singles matches four went into a third set with Jacksonville State coming away victorious in three of them as the gamecocks took decisions at number four, five and six singles. Charleston's Philipp Koller won in three sets at number three singles. Liran Kling won at number two singles against Arturo Nieto for the Cougars other win. Jacksonville State won all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point to start the match.
The Cougars host Binghamton tomorrow at 1:00 PM, while the Gamecocks are off until Mar. 29th when they take on Troy at 1:30 PM.
