#articleRelated { display: none !important; } Kosha Lance claimed first place in the hammer throw to lead the College of Charleston track and field team at the Clemson Invitational in Clemson, S.C.

Lance, a senior from Georgetown, S.C., took first place behind her best throw of the year, a toss of 175-00.

Kathryn Boettcher earned a second place finish in the 5000 meter run with a time of 19:12.54 while Ashley Arnold ran a 4:56.13 to finish fifth in the 1500 meter run.

The Cougars will be back in action on April 30 when they travel to the SoCon Championships in Cullowhee, N.C.
