Cougars Win Eighth in a Row, Defeat Rattlers 4-3

The College of Charleston men's tennis team edged the Florida A&M Rattlers, 4-3, in action this afternoon at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The Cougars improve to 8-1 on the year, having won their eighth in a row. Charleston hosts Hampton March 12th at 1:00 PM.
CofC opening doubles matches proved to be crucial as the Cougars took two of three to win the point heading into singles play. Charleston and Florida A&M would split singles as the Rattlers won at number three, four and six singles and the Cougars taking one, two and five. Using the doubles point, the Cougars clinched the match 4-3.
