Cougars Earn Fourth Straight Sweep

The College of Charleston earned its fourth sweep in a row, defeating Georgia Southern, 7-0, in men's tennis action this afternoon at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The Cougars improve to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the Southern Conference. Georgia Southern drops to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the league.
The Cougars opened the day with doubles in all three matches to earn the point heading into singles play. The closest match of the day in singles was a 6-4, 6-4 win by Mike Reynolds over Philip Prins at the number five spot.
Georgia Southern hosts Hampton the 8th at 2:00 PM while Charleston hosts Charlotte the 6th at 1:00 PM.
