Despite wins by Omer Abramovich and Mickael Boyer at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, the College of Charleston men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to East Carolina at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point on Thursday.
Charleston, which fell to 5-7, plays host to Southern Conference member Georgia Southern in a 1:00 start on Saturday.
Abramovich beat Jaroslav Horvath 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Boyer outlasted Aleksey Kochetov 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 at No. 2 singles.
Joe Nicolazzi beat Henrik Skalmerud 7-6, 6-1 in No. 5 singles play.
