Elon won five of six singles matches en route to a 6-1 win over the College of Charleston in Southern Conference men's tennis action at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point on Tuesday.
The Cougars, who travel to Furman for a 1:00 match on Saturday, fell to 6-11 overall and 1-4 in league play. Elon improved to 11-6 and 6-1.
Charleston's lone win came at No. 1 singles where Omer Abramovich downed Damon Gooch 6-2, 6-4. Abramovich teammed with Steven Myers to knock off Gooch and Philip Nemec 8-7 at No. 1 doubles.
