The Citadel beat the College of Charleston, 4-3, in Southern Conference men's tennis action at windy Patriots Point Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Charleston, which plays at Lees-McRae at 1:00 on Friday, fell to 6-14 overall and 1-7 in league play. The Bulldogs improved to 14-9 and 4-3.
For Charleston, Omer Abramovich defeated Danile Dossetor 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, Ross Moyer bested Martin King 6-4, 7-5 at No. 5 and Jimmy Petit earned a 6-2, 6-7, 1-0 win over Frederic Petrilli at No. 6.
The Bulldogs claimed three singles wins with Yufo Sutantio, James Eason and Alberto Diaz earning wins. The Bulldogs claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
