Cougars Begin Four-Match Road Trip at Miami

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (3-3) kicks off a four-match road trip this Friday, when they head deep into the terrain of the Sunshine State to take on the Miami Hurricanes (5-2) for a 4 p.m. encounter.
After starting their season with two straight wins, the Cougars dropped three of their last four contests. Most recently, CofC fell 5-2 at home to St. John's on Wednesday despite winning the doubles point and Benedikt Henning winning on court two. Henning has been the most accomplished Cougar to start the year, sporting a flawless 5-0 record in doubles play as well as a 3-2 record in singles.
The Cougars will face Miami for the first time during the Jay Bruner coaching era. While they are just 1-2 on the road this year, the Hurricanes are a perfect 4-0 at home so far this year, having beaten Georgia Southern, Iowa, Florida Atlantic and Bucknell in consecutive matches. Bojan Jankulovski is ranked No. 101 in singles play in the country, and comes off a 6-2, 6-0 win over Bucknell's Max Kane.
