The Short Story: Despite several dangerous opportunities, CofC falls to conference foe JMU on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• JMU broke through first to take an early lead in the 10th minute.
• The Dukes extended their lead in the 16th minute to make the score 2-0.
• Freshman Grace Powell and sophomore Mary Katherine Waters nearly put the Cougars on the board in the 32nd and 33rd minutes, respectively, but both shots were saved by the JMU keeper.
• JMU extended its lead to 4-0 just before halftime.
• In the 65th minute, Beck let one fly towards goal, but the Dukes' keeper made a diving save to keep the clean sheet.

The College will return to action as they take on Elon on Thursday, Oct. 17 with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. at Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
