Women's Tennis Hosts CofC Classic To Close Out Fall Season

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston Women's Tennis team concludes its fall season as it hosts the CofC Classic beginning on Friday, Nov. 1 and goes through Sunday,
Nov. 3.
 
The Field
The College, Winthrop, Samford and Marshall make up the four-team field. The tournament will begin on Friday at noon with doubles play first, followed by singles play starting at 1 p.m.

Charleston Order of Play: Friday
Freshman Halli Trinkle and junior Eva Nyikos will team up to face off against Resnburg and Pool from Samford in Flight 1 at noon. Senior Anastasia Palaska and freshman Slade Coetzee pair up to take on Marshall's Smith and Dankanych in Flight 2 at noon. Sophomores Lily LaBiche and Clara Errard is set to take on Samford's Oest and Horsfall in Flight 3 at noon.
 
In singles play, junior Ava Turner will take on Marshall's Joseph in Flight 8 at 1 p.m., freshman Eleanor Campbell is set to take on Samford's Ampaw in Flight 7 at 1 p.m., Palaska takes on Winthrop's Nanere in Flight 6 at 1 p.m., junior Catalina Medici takes on Samford's Horsfall in Flight 6 at 1 p.m., sophomore Elizabeth Nowak takes on Marshall's Stefanic in Flight 5 at 1 p.m., Errard takes on Beltrame of Samford in Flight 5 at 1 p.m., sophomore Victoria Walter takes on Winthrop's Georgieva in Flight 4 at 1 p.m., Labiche takes on Samford's Pool in Flight 3 at 3 p.m., Trinkle takes on Dankanych of Marshall in Flight 2 at 3 p.m. and Coetzee is set to take on Winthrop's Santos in Flight 1 at 3 p.m.
