"We look forward to another great event at Briar's Creek," CofC Head Coach Jamie Futrell said. "We will have to play well for a good finish this week as this is one of the best and deepest fields this tournament has had in its history."
Last year, North Carolina won the team title with a three-round score of 848 (-16) ahead of runner-up Campbell (-10). The Tar Heels set a new tournament record for lowest tournament total (848) ahead of the previous record held by Florida (849 in 2017) in the tournament's six-year history.
