ASSISTANT COACH ROBB STONE ON #24 WAKE FOREST
"It's always a tough task to play a Top-25 team on their home courts. They play fast and we took a little bit of time getting used to that, but what is evident is that the girls came close to winning their respective sets. We played much better towards the end of the match. We had good energy throughout the match, we competed well, and we get another shot at improving against Clemson."
Â
HEAD COACH ANGELO ANASTOPOULO ON NC A&T
"We started a bit slow in doubles but finished very strong. This carried over into the singles with strong performances in each position. I'm extremely proud of our newcomers Victoria [Walter], Eleanor [Campbell] and Peyton [Brotzman] for earning their first College of Charleston tennis victories. A special recognition to Peyton for working so hard in recovery from her ACL surgery and clinching the match on the one-year anniversary of her injury. Now a quick, brief recovery to face a talented Clemson team tomorrow."
