The short story: The College earned its first win of the season after falling to Miami in the season opener after defeating Belmont Abbey by a score of 6-1.

OPENING SERVE

Noah Borges and Johnny Wang teamed up and took down Cliff/Turner of Belmont Abbey in the No. 2 position to give CofC its first doubles victory.
Karl Mosterd and Ben Cawston paired up in the No. 1 doubles position and sealed the doubles point for the Cougars.
Easton Thomas gave the Cougars its first singles point of the day after defeating his opponent in the No. 6 singles position in a third-set tiebreaker.
Borges defeated his opponent in the No. 4 singles position in straight sets to give the Cougars their third point of the match.
Cawston sealed the victory for the Cougars after taking his opponent down in straight sets.
