Charleston, S.C. – A total of 15 games are on tap when the College of Charleston softball team plays host to the Holy City Showdown from Friday through Sunday at Patriots Point.
Charleston plays five times, taking on Campbell (3:45) and Maine (8:15) on Friday, Chattanooga (3:45) and Maine (6:00) on Saturday and Campbell on Sunday at 2:30. Charleston Southern and Coppin State are also in the tournament field but will not face the Cougars.

tournament schedule page. All day passes for Friday and Sunday are $6 for adults and $3 for youth (18 & under). Saturday is free admission with no ticket required.
The Cougars (5-9) are coming off a doubleheader split against Furman on Tuesday, including a four-hit shutout by
Drayton Siegling in a 1-0 win. Siegling has two wins, a 1.93 ERA and 20 strikeouts, one behind team leader
Chandler Sparkman.
Summer Jenkins also has two wins and a 2.62 ERA.
Noel Dominguez also starred against the Paladins with five hits, including three doubles, and four RBI.
Alondra Vicary tripled twice in the second game and also knocked in four.
Payton Wade leads the team with a .394 batting average, followed by Dominguez (.364) and
Brittany Vicary (.348).
Campbell (7-8) is led by Destini England, who is batting .455 with 10 steals. Kayla Fredenhall paces the Camels with four homers and has 12 RBI, and Kyandi Tipler has three home runs a team-best 14 RBI. Georgeanna Barefoot has three wins, a 2.56 ERA and 47 strikeouts while Kayla Howard has fanned 47. Campbell leads the series, 23-10, but the Cougars won the last outing, 12-3, on February 26, 2016.
Maine (1-3) opened its season last weekend, and Grace McGouldrick had five hits in four games while Kelby Drews homered and drove in three runs. Kyleigh O'Donnell picked up the win and struck out seven in two appearances. The Cougars won the lone previous meeting, a 5-0 victory on March 5, 2011 in Clearwater, Fla.
Chattanooga (4-7) is coming off a 37-17 season including its 14th Southern Conference title. The Moc attack is paced by Aly Walker (.432), Emily Coltharp (.378, 6-6 SB) and Morgan Kazerooni (2 HR, 8 RBI), and Celie Hudson (3-2, 2.65 ERA, 38 Ks) is their top pitcher. Chattanooga leads the series, 31-27, with the Cougars winning, 5-2, on March 11, 2017 in the most recent meeting.
