- Ben Cawston and Karl Mosterd gave the Cougars some momentum in doubles as they took down their opponents 6-2.
- The combination of Robby Krick and Andre Limon sealed the doubles point for the Cougars after winning in the No. 3 position in a tiebreaker set.
- Limon carried his momentum into the No. 4 position and extended the Cougars' lead to 2-0 after taking his opponent down in straight sets.
- Mosterd gave the Cougars a 3-0 lead when he took his opponent down in the No. 2 position in straight sets.
- Krick clinched the victory for the Cougars in an entertaining three-set match at the No. 6 position.
