OPENING SERVE
- Hallie Trinkle and Eva Nyikos gave the Cougars momentum in doubles play with a win at the No. 1 position, winning 6-2.
- The combination of Slade Coetzee and Lily LaBiche earned the Cougars the doubles point, winning 6-4 in the No. 3 position.
- Nyikos carried her momentum from doubles into singles, giving Charleston a 2-0 lead after taking her opponent down in the No. 3 position in straight sets, only allowing one game against her.
- Coetzee gave the Cougars the lead back after the Eagles rallied back with two wins at the No. 4 and 5 positions, winning her match in straight sets.
- Trinkle clinched the match for CofC in the No. 2 position after defeating her opponent in a three-set thriller.
