OPENING SERVE

The Cougars swept doubles play to take an early 1-0 lead.
Guido Argentini and Noah Borges cruised to a 6-2 win in the top doubles flight.
Jake Fraunfelder pulled out a gritty 7-6 (7-5) victory at No. 2 doubles as Ben Husum and Robby Krick won by default in the third flight.
Krick secured the Cougars' third point with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles after Fraunfelder won by default at No. 6.
Guido Argentini fell in three sets at No. 1 singles after holding a 1-0 lead with a 6-3 victory in set one.
Borges dropped a three-set decision in the second flight despite winning the first set, 6-0.
