CHARLESTON, S.C. – A three-game series at UNCG and Sunday dates against Campbell and Charlotte comprise a slate of five contests in three days for College of Charleston this weekend.

The Cougars will be in Greensboro for a single game Friday at 4 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday at noon. They head to Charlotte the following day to meet Campbell at noon and the host 49ers at 3 p.m.

Riley Miller has been the top hitter for CofC with an average of .333 to go along with four doubles, a home run and five RBI. Payton Wade has three doubles, a pair of homers and five RBI, and Kylie Burke has been the top pitcher with a 2.56 ERA and 24 strikeouts.

After starting 0-4, including two losses to No. 9 Kentucky, UNCG has won eight in a row with four wins over CAA opponents last week (three against UNCW and a Wednesday victory over Elon).

The Spartans have hit 25 home runs, topped by Jordan Gontram with seven and a team-leading 16 RBI. Morgan Scott has three wins and 36 strikeouts in 30 innings, and Alina Varga has a 4-0 record.

Campbell (5-8) is led at the plate by Alexa Pagano with a .318 average. Kayla Fredenhall has three homers while Bri Bryant paces the Camels with nine RBI. Megan Richards and Georgeanna Barefoot have combined to strike out 53 in 53.1 innings.

Charlotte (11-5) has won eight of its last nine with the only loss coming in extra innings to No. 13 Duke, and the 49ers swept Furman last weekend. Bailey Vannoy is the top hitter at .340 with seven doubles, six homers and 12 RBI, and Kiyah Garrett has three homers and a team-leading 15 RBI.

Lindsey Walljasper has won seven of nine decisions and has a 2.41 ERA and 37 strikeouts.
