OPENING SERVE

The Eagles won the first two doubles flights to claim the doubles point.
Georgia Southern took a 3-0 lead with straight-set wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
Guido Argentini got the Cougars on the board with a 6-1, 7-6 victory in the top flight.
Noah Borges registered CofC's second point with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.
Ben Husum and Karl Mosterd were both unable to hold on after each winning the first set at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively.

"Today was a great college tennis match. We had six great battles happening. We won four first sets and only got two points out if it. In our sport, we need four guys to shoot the game winning foul shot, get a base hit in the last inning, or make a penalty kick in overtime. It takes belief for three hours on each court. We are not where we can be yet."
