No. 25 Women's Golf Hosts Edisto Island Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. - After winning the Evie Odom Invitational last week, the No. 25 College of Charleston Women's Golf team returns home to host the Edisto Island Invitational. The three-day tournament will feature 54 holes, featuring 18 holes each day beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Head coach Jamie Futrell looks to add to his career wins total, which currently sits at 35 and ranks tenth among active NCAA Division I coaches.
The Cougars won last season's Edisto Island Invitational and Emma Schimpf and Viktoria Hund claimed co-medalist honors. Schimpf, the current CAA Golfer of the Week, ranks 12th in the Golfweek individual power rankings.
Mary Kathryn Talledo, Adrian Anderson and Othilie Lied join Schimpf and Hund to complete the Cougars' lineup for the tournament. Lied is making her first appearance in the lineup this season.
