Cougars Women's Tennis Heads to Clemson for Saturday Action

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston women's tennis team will head to Clemson this weekend for a matchup with the Clemson Tigers. The match is slated ot start at 1:00 p.m.

The Cougars are 1-1 to begin the season. Charleston swept South Carolina State, 7-0, in its home opener before suffering a tough 4-3 loss at Georgia Southern.
Junior Slade Coetzee is 2-0 in singles play this season, as well as a perfect 2-0 with doubles partner Halli Trinkle. Senior Victoria Walter and freshman Maja Jekauc are also 2-0 in singles action to this point.
Clemson is coming off its first loss of the season, 7-0 defeat at #14 Auburn. The Tigers are 5-1 on the season.
Charleston's next home match is Wednesday, February 16 vs Presbyterian at 2:00 p.m.
