Men's Soccer Returns Home to Host Northeastern

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's soccer team will take on Northeastern at Patriots Point on Saturday, October 12.
The Cougars will head into the home game with a 7-4-1 record, after a loss against North Carolina Tar Heels. Charleston found two shots on goal in the second half, when a corner kick found the head of Chris Elliott was saved by the goalkeeper and again with a shot from Ty Nero.
Olly Marshall tallied ten saves on the day for Charleston, leading the defense against a strong Tar Heel attack.
Northeastern currently sits 1-4-6 on the season and 0-3-1 in conference play. The Huskies have tied their last three games and will be looking for their first conference win. The last time the two teams faced each other was the 2023 reason, where the Cougars and Huskies ended in a scoreless draw.
Saturday's matchup is also Pups on the Pitch Day. Invite your furry friends out to the game!
