CHARLESTON, S.C. -  The College of Charleston beach volleyball team will host the CofC Beach Classic this weekend at the Creekside Tennis Club.

The Cougars will host Eastern Kentucky, UNCW, North Florida and Coastal Carolina in the final matches at Creekside Tennis Club before the program relocates to a new home next season.

Charleston will honor seniors Sofie Vogel, Julia Oravec, Brooke Hoven, and Maria Zweig prior to the start of Saturday's match vs. North Florida.

The Cougars are coming off a 2-1 weekend in Jacksonville with 5-0 wins over Palm Beach State and St. Johns River College. Charleston fell 4-1 to Jacksonville with the No. 5 pair of Elizabeth Curry and Brooke Hoven securing the dual win vs. the Dolphins.

This will be the fifth meeting between the Cougars and UNCW this season. The Seahawks have taken the previous four battles. Charleston and Coastal Carolina will meet for the second time this season with the Chanticleers taking the previous match.
