MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. – Highlighted by sophomore Jake Smith's strong weekend, the Charleston men's tennis team finished the Country Club of Birmingham Invite Sunday afternoon.

Smith swept through his first three singles matches as he led the Cougars with four total wins at the CCB Invite this weekend. Smith defeated opponents from Kennesaw State, UAB and Louisiana Lafayette in addition to picking up a doubles win alongside junior Ram Mude.

Along with the doubles victory, Mude earned a pair of singles wins - sweeping competitors from Tulane and Kennesaw State.

Senior Leon Harder collected two wins as well, defeating his Tulane opponent in three sets and sweeping a match against his Louisiana Lafayette opposition.

Senior Eddie Vo tabbed two wins against opponents from UAB, and freshman Dani Farran earned a victory in a match against Tulane.

The Cougars won a total of 11 matches at the Samford Tennis Center this weekend.
