CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston men's tennis Head Coach Jay Bruner announced the program's 2026 spring schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The schedule consists of 18 contests and four Coastal Athletic Association matches leading up to the CAA Tournament starting April 17th in Williamsburg, Va.
"We are preparing as a team to play at our best together at the end of the season," says Bruner. "That means getting the most out of the schedule in each segment of the spring. There is space between matches early on and key groups of matches where we will be challenged physically like tournament play in the middle of the season. We have set up a series of consecutive conference matches as we get to the home stretch and are ultimately preparing for that finale of the season before the CAA tournament."
The Cougars kick off their season at Florida State January 15th before the home opener at Turner Tennis Center with a CAA contest against Elon January 26th.
In February, CofC will have road contests against North Florida, Coastal Carolina and Coppin State, with the lone home match of the month against Wofford on February 14th.
The Cougars will begin March with three straight road matches in Mississippi and Louisiana before returning to the low country for six consecutive home contests beginning March 7th against Youngstown State and ending March 24th versus Drexel.
CofC will then play at Campbell before visiting The Citadel and Davidson in April before the CAA Tournament beginning April 17th. The top-six teams in the CAA will earn the right to play in the conference tournament with the winner of the tournament getting an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
