He is coming off an amazing season where he became more comfortable managing points and matches. He shows up each year having worked harder in the offseason to be prepared for the work ahead. Lukas has the ability to hurt his opponent at the beginning of the point or the end of the point, with great ball striking ability combined with great footwork and balance. He continues to push himself to a new level each season and I believe this season will compliment last season’s improvement. He’s had success against nationally-ranked opponents each of the last two seasons and he should have the same opportunity this year. JUNIOR (2009-10)
Named Southern Conference Player of the Year…Became only the second player in school history to achieve such distinction…SoCon Honor Roll student…Garnered All-Conference First Team honors in singles and doubles partnering with Tom Delme…Earned an NCAA Regional ranking of No. 20…Turned in the first 20-win season as a Cougar going 20-10 in singles play holding down the top position during the spring…Went 12-1 to finish the season…Clinched an undefeated season for the Cougars with a come-from-behind win at the top position versus Furman (7-5, 3-6, 7-6(4))…Also claimed the decisive fourth point against Appalachian State and East Carolina…In doubles action, picked up 18 doubles wins over the year partnering with Mickael Trintignac and Delme…Posted a 6-4 mark in conference play…Had two separate five-match win streaks and one four-match win streak with Delme…Upset the No. 42-ranked team of Lutjen and Vorster of Ole Miss, 8-5…Clinched the doubles point versus East Carolina and UNC Charlotte…Earned a No. 9 regional ranking with Delme to end the season.

SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
Honored on the SoCon All-Academic Team...Had an impressive first semester in collegiate tennis during the fall...Went 3-1 at the Southern Intercollegiate defeating Justin Picham from GCSU (6-3, 7-6) in the Round of 16...Went 3-0 at the Charleston Invitational playing in the No. 2 flight...Defeated two ranked players during the spring season including No. 125-ranked Bobby Lake of Appalachian State (6-3, 6-4) and No. 106-ranked Bo Ladyman of Furman (7-6, 2-6, 1-0 (3)...Accumulated 18 singles wins during the year playing primarily at the No. 1 and No. 2 lines...Went 11-11 in doubles partnering with Tom Delme and Omer Abramovich...In doubles, defeated the No. 51-ranked team of Vidal and Juneu of William & Mary (9-7) in the first match of the season...Defeated the No. 1 tandem of Alvarez and Bizjak from Clemson (8-5) with Delme.

HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR CAREER
Graduated in 2005 from Franciscan School…Competed in singles and doubles in ITF Futures tournaments in his home country of Austria.
