2013: Appeared in 23 games serving as a useful pinch runner… scored six runs on the year.

2012: Made 31 appearances including five starts in left field... scored four runs for the Cougars... stole successfully in her lone attempt on the year... served as a valuable pinch runner on several occasions... scored her first collegiate run on March 10 against Chattanooga.

2011: O'Brien was a team player for CofC and proved she can be relied upon to get hits in big pinch-hit situations... O'Brien came to the plate in five such appearances and got hits in three of them for a .600 batting average on the year... roped an RBI double against Marist for her first RBI as a Cougar... aside from her success as a pinch hitter, O'Brien could be relied on to always better prepare her teammates, especially warming up and preparing the pitchers.

Mater Dei Prep: Played four years of softball for head coach Jeanne Dickinson from 2005-09... was a team captain and won a state championship... also played soccer and track and field... earned four varsity letters in all three sports...

Personal: Daughter of Marianne and Kenneth O'Brien... majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish... aspires to be a veterinarian... attended Towson University for one year before transferring to CofC...
