CONWAY, S.C. – The College of Charleston fell 10-1 at Coastal Carolina on Wednesday evening.
The Cougars are now 20-22 overall on the 2026 season.

- In the top of the first, Bronwyn Conroy reached first on an error which allowed for her to tally her 31st stolen base of the season when Julia Sitterding grounded out. Conroy's 31 stolen bases mark a new program single season stolen bases record.
- In the top of the second, Samantha Horn and Sierra Paradis walked and Cadence Alberty reached first on a fielder's choice, but the Cougars would not connect the play.
- Down 5-0 in the bottom of the third, Erin McDaid held the Chanticleers to their only scoreless inning of the game.
- Leading off for the Cougars in the top of the fourth, Halle Cannon singled and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Up to bat, Horn singled for an RBI and Cannon scored from third for Charleston's lone run of the night.
- In the top of the fifth, the Cougars would load the bases but were unable to finish before the end of the inning. Coastal would add three more runs in the bottom of the inning on a home run to end the game.
- Charleston had five hits on the night from five different players.
- Horn tallied her third RBI of the season against Coastal.
- Cannon scored her 12th run and had her 28th hit of her senior season.
- Charleston will next host Coastal Carolina on Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m.
