#articleRelated { display: none !important; } North Florida won four of six singles matches to take the 4-3 win over the College of Charleston men's tennis team in action this afternoon at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Charleston falls to 0-1, while UNF starts the season 1-0.

Or Dekel and Marcus DiGliodo took the number one doubles 8-1 over Leoonardo Gomes and German Escallon, while Justin Malina and Jimmy Petit were victorious over Eduardo Pereira and Elad Gabay, 8-4, at number three doubles to give the Cougars the doubled point. John Crudop and Mike Reynolds fell 8-4 to Matias Sigal and Jose Terrera at number two doubles.

Dekel defeated Pereira (6-4, 6-1) at number one singles, while Malina took Terrera in three sets at number three (3-6, 7-6, 7-6). Those would be the only two singles victories as North Florida won at number two, four, five and six singles.

The Cougars host East Carolina Feb. 12th at 1:00 PM at Patriots Point, while North Florida travels to Auburn the 29th for a 2:00 PM match.
