Cougars Win Fourth Straight, Take Down Spartans, 7-0

The College of Charleston swept every match to take the 7-0 victory of the UNC Greensboro Spartans in men's tennis action this afternoon at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The Cougars improve to 5-1 overall and a perfect 2-0 in the Southern Conference. They host Georgia Southern the 5th at 1:00 PM. The Spartans drop to 2-8 and 0-1 in the league and face The Citadel the 6th in a 1:00 PM match.
The closest match of the day turned out to be number one doubles as the duo of Or Dekel and Marcos Digliodo edged Austin Wilty and Martin Redelinghuys 8-7. The Cougars took al lthree to earn the doubles point heading into singles play. The Cougars only had one set go into four games en route to the straight set sweep in all matches.
