
Men?s tennis falls to Old Dominion, George Washington

“We learned a lot from the weekend's matches,” said CofC Head Coach Jay Bruner. “We needed the competition from these two tough schools to help us improve.”
Against ODU, CofC won two singles matches. Freshman Mickael Boyer defeated Eidy Igarashi 7-5 and 6-4. Sophomore Steven Myers won over Matt Fawcett in three sets 6-3, 4-6 and 10-6.
Myers and freshman Ross Moyer notched the two Cougar victories over GW. Myers defeated Sam Salyer 6-4 and 6-3, while Moyer bested Mark Doumba 6-2 and 6-3.
The Cougars will host an alumni match at 10:30 on Sat., Jan. 26, at Patriots Point in
