
CofC Tennis Blanks Wingate, 7-0

The College of Charleston men's tennis team shutout Wingate, 7-0, in men's college tennis action at Wingate Tennis Facility on Saturday.
With the win, Charleston improved to 3-3 on the season. The Cougars play at Mercer at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22. Wingate fell to 1-2.
After earning the doubles point, the Cougars cruised to straight set wins in each singles match. Omar Abramaovich downed Mitchell Lvovsky 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1, Mickael Boyer beat Jose Valarezo 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, Steven Myers earned a 6-2, 7-6 win over Braeden Patchell at No. 3 and Joe Nicolazzi blanked Brendan Molan 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
The Cougars completed the shutout with wins at No. 5 singles by Christopher Carlton and at No. 5 by Ross Moyer.
