
Charleston Downs UNCG In Men's Tennis, 4-3

Joe Nicolazzi, Ross Moyer and Garrett Egan claimed singles play victories that led the College of Charleston to a 4-3 Southern Conference men's tennis win over UNC Greensboro at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point on Sunday.
Charleston, which plays host to Drake (12-0) on Monday at 5:30, improved to 6-8 overall and 1-2 in league play. UNC Greensboro fell to 1-11 and 0-3.
Nicolazzi beat Martin Redelinghuys 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 singles, Moyer downed William John 6-3, 6-2 and No. 5 and Garrett Egan defeated Taylor Befus 7-5, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
The Cougars claimed the doubles point when Omer Abramovich and Steven Myers teamed to beat Arsel Kumdereli and John 8-1 at No. 1. Boyer and Jimmy Petit won at No. 3, 8-5, over Befus and Redelinghuys.
